Townhouses generally provide the benefit of both a villa and an apartment and are as such fast becomming more popular. Being situated within a gated resort, guests staying in an townhouse in Orlando will have access to a communal pool or in some cases even a 'lazy river' (please check specific resort information). Gated resorts also have a club house with bar and in some cases a small shop so as you can buy your essentials.
Some townhouses in Orlando will even feature their own splash pool in addition to a large communal pool (similar to a villa), just in case you fancied a dip whilst in the privacy of your own home. Please do check individual units as not all have this feature.
